I
was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia and lived in Bosnia until 2000 when
I moved to the United States with my family. I began drawing at a
young age and began entering my art into art shows and contests at
the age of eight. Ever since I moved to the United States, I found
that my art was very successful. I won first place at the
Mooresville Artist Guild Student Art Show three years in a row. I
also won first place in the Women’s Club Student Art Show in pencil,
pastel, charcoal, and pen and ink for the Statesville District. My
charcoal drawing (“Pacino”) went on and won first place in the
state. Last year I entered the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Art Contest and
won first place in the state and went on to win second place in the
nation for “Reflection.” I graduated from Statesville High School
and currently I am a student at East Carolina University. I am
majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Math. |
